Transfers outside the EU without adequate protection

When an EU country is not recognized as offering adequate protection, there are a few possibilities to let data transfers take place nevertheless: EU standard contractual clauses, binding corporate rules or a number of exceptions established by law. The idea is to provide legal security to economic actors, such as companies.
